Description
Ep 169: Sexual Energy, Empowerment, and Healing with Natasha Edwina. Natasha is an LMFT, an alternative and holistic coach, a hypnotherapist, and a consultant with a focus on pleasure, spirituality, and healing through pleasure. She highlights female sexuality topics that attend to states prior to dysfunction or problems occurring. She also teaches how diet affects both our sexuality and our mental health. She zones in on the significance of the breath to connect with yourself first before sexual relations. She discusses how women experience pleasure and orgasms differently than men in that they have rolling hills of bliss rather than the hard and fast route to climax and enjoyment. She says, "Don't miss the subtle energy" of the rise of pleasure to orgasm (or not orgasm, but always pleasure). Heterosexual couples:She talks about the importance of foreplay and how it's not just about touch. It begins way before the sexual encounter. She discusses how the different brain chemistry between the sexes is something to pay attention to and that women are more circular, whereas men are more direct with the hard and fast path, and often compartmentalized. Both men & women would do well by slowing down to understand each other's sensual processes. We talked about why couples should make a fantasy list which includes boundaries that should not be crossed, the devastation that occurs if boundaries are not respected, & the extensive healing needed if a boundary is crossed. We talked about squirting and how sexuality is taught & treated around the world. We spent time talking about how erotica is beneficial, especially to women, and how it can be used for sexuality but also remembering that we are all different in this area. Natasha pointed out that in relationships, we all need sexual connection and a charge, that desire, otherwise it's just a pleasant relationship without passion. She explained how sex is basic to a couple-relationship, it's integral. Communication is key and knowing things change for all people is something we should all recognize, so our sexuality is not static but ever-evolving & changing over time. She also taught us about how nutrition and sugar impact libido and how sugar is a boner and sex drive killer.Learn more about Natasha and her offerings here: https://linktr.ee/natasha.edwinaFind Natasha on Instagram http://instagram.com/natasha.edwinaWebsite https://www.natashaedwina.com/Connect with the podcast host Ruan Willow here: https://linktr.ee/RuanWillowNew book in presale: Never Say, Never Swing (affiliate) https://amzn.to/3nNQBgnTopics about this podcast include discussion around advice, sex, psychology, spirituality, women's health, self help, self care, & sexuality.Smart Passive Income PodcastWeekly interviews, strategy, and advice for building your online business the smart way.Listen on: Apple Podcasts SpotifySupport the show
