Description

Episode Zero is a discussion on the ways people engage with their faith. Alman and Nihal talk about how people hold biases vs. beliefs, how to navigate differences in communities, becoming conflict-comfortable in the face of disagreement, and what they are planning to discuss in the upcoming episodes. We also get a chance to hear about the unique backgrounds of the co-hosts. Alman is a singer-songwriter who was mentored by Yusuf Islam (formerly Cat Stevens) and has performed throughout the world, all the while having a background in business and arts. Nihal is a community activist, educator, and scholar who has degrees in Islam and Psychology. Faith in Fine Print is brought to you by The Mantle, a sacred safe space dedicated to facilitating and demonstrating Islamic Spirituality.
