Jake Hatch explains what he makes of the Cougars' chances as 18-point underdogs as they finally begin West Coast Conference play

Attention then turned to the passing of BYU football legend Eldon "The Phantom" Fortie, who passed away in Arizona yesterday at the age of 79. Jake explained why Fortie was so beloved and why his passing should be one that Cougar Nation should mourn as they lose the first first-team All-American in program history

Finally, the podcast wrapped up with a look at the situation developing at Baylor as offensive line coach Ryan Pugh was let go from the position he was hired to coach a day after being announced. Jake talks about the circumstances of the situation and why it may put BYU offensive line coach Eric Mateos back in the crosshairs of the Bears' program
