Dr. John Paul Guidry (T: @Guidry_golf_fit, IG: @guidrygolfandsport_performance) is the owner of Guidry Golf and Sports Performance in Mandeville, Louisiana. He has been helping people get out of pain and improve their life and game for many years. He started in the business by getting his doctorate in physical therapy and as he started working with more clients, many of those professional athletes he continued learning by getting his National Strength & Conditioning Association certification and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach. He is also holds a certification with TPI (Titleist Performance Institute). His theories are based on the fundamentals that have stood the test of time and revolve around the Big 5 – pushing, pulling, hinging, squatting, and pressing. Why these continue to be the best training methods for golf and health and why you should be cautious of fringe ideas that seem to be rampant in the fitness industry.
