Throughout the entire show on this Michigan High School Athletic Association Wednesday, we had the opportunity to hear from some of the high school senior athletes from the state of Michigan. We’ve heard a lot about how the coaches have been affected by Covid-19, but we haven’t heard much from the students. These young ladies and gentleman joined us to give us an idea of what it was like to have their final season cut short. They also told us what they’ve been doing in their off-time as well as how their communities have been handling everything that’s come at us. To kick off our first hour we were joined by Jack Fairman out of Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood. He played football, basketball, and baseball – and is going on to play football of UPenn. We were then joined by Trevin Philips from Caro. His sports were soccer, basketball, track and baseball – and he is going on to throw for the Saginaw Valley track team.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
