Description
Today on the show we were joined by Dr. K from Metro Health to discuss the state of CTE currently in contact sports, this stems from the recent release of the Aaron Hernandez documentary that was released on Netflix. Bill and Dr. K broke down some of the different factors that could’ve contributed to Aaron’s downfall and how CTE can be connected. We also discussed about how much we really don’t know about CTE and what needs to happen to change that. Bill had a few Huge questions today – How safe is football today? Should parents be concerned about their children and likeliness of concussions? And is football in trouble after learning more about the effects it can have on the brain?
In the final hour of the show, Bill and Superfly focused more on the documentary itself and the life of Aaron Hernandez – the factors that went into making him snap, our conclusions, and what we learned. Then to finish off the show, Tom Gage joined us to discuss the Baseball Hall of Fame results from last night, and Tim McCullough from Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort called in to tell us what’s up at the casino.
