Huge opened the show today by discussing how his kids’ first practice with a mask went last night. The general consensus seemed to be that it was somewhat difficult – and that was with cooler weather. So, throughout the entire broadcast we wanted to hear about any feedback from your own kids or kids that you coach regarding wearing a mask. We took you calls and texts on the topic. In our first hour we were joined by Tony Ortiz so he and Huge could talk about the Lions opener on Sunday against the Bears. Tony and Huge both gave their thoughts on if they think Detroit will win or not. In our second hour today we wanted to take a look at the NBA and NHL playoffs and how each league has been doing in their respective bubbles. At the top of our final hour we were joined by Graham Couch to get his thoughts on high school athletes wearing masks during play, as he has gotten some other medical insight into the situation. He and Bill also talked about the likelihood of the B10 coming back sooner rather than later. We then went on to talk some more about the Lions with our friend Logan Lamorandier. Also – today we are paying tribute to what the Mary Free Bed Wheelchair and Adaptive Sports Program has done for athletes with disabilities. At the end of the first hour we were joined by Christy VanHaver to hear about her work with the program. At the end of the second hour we were joined by Tim Murray to hear about his work with the Frenzy Lacrosse team and with the entire Mary Free Bed program.
