Throughout the entirety of today’s broadcast we wanted to break down the biggest stories from over the weekend regarding our teams throughout Michigan. We initially opened conversation about our Detroit Lions and that sad game against the Vikings yesterday. We also wanted to talk about how the recent GM/Coaching search has been going for the organization. Off the hiring discussion – we also wanted to talk about whether the University of Michigan is going to extend Harbaugh’s contract or not. In our first hour we were joined by Chris Balas to talk about everything he knows regarding the Harbaugh extension. He said we should know more tomorrow and to keep our eyes peeled. Huge opened up the second hour with his opinion on how the Lions looked yesterday against the Vikings and to go further in depth on what needs to happen with Detroit’s new GM/Coach once they are officially hired. We were then joined by Mike O’Hara to talk some more about the hiring changes that are needed to make the Lions a decent team. We kicked off our final hour with Doug Skene to get his opinion on what’s happening with Harbaugh and why things seem to be taking so long. He and Huge talked about how frustrating all of this is and what they think could happen if the extension isn’t announced sooner rather than later. We wrapped up the show with our friend Tony Ortiz to talk some more about the Lions GM/Coaching search.
