Description

Today I want to talk about setting expectations both as a designer, how to set expectations with their client, as well as a homeowner, how to set their expectations with a contractor or a designer. I will be sharing the steps that are the kind of things a homeowner should be doing so that their expectations are appropriate. They know what they’re getting into, they know they can afford this, they know who the players are and how they’re going to get the work done.  And for the designers, you will go through similar steps with your clients when you’re working on the projects. There are so many different areas that give both the homeowner and the designer control, in the beginning, to set up the process, to set up the expectation, for a very detail-oriented project to run as smoothly as humanly possible.   Find the full show notes at: https://devignierdesign.com/podcast/how-to-set-expectations-in-the-beginning
