Description

Despite the Novak Djokovic kerfuffle Down Under, there was actually some good tennis to enjoy and get excited about. Andre,Vansh, and Owen get together to talk about how Félix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov have progressed and that it showed during the ATP Cup, a tournament that seems to not mean a lot, but it also looks like it does. They also chat about how Rafael Nadal's title is great, but does not give much indication in terms of how his Australian Open Campaign will turn out, and also about how Ash Barty, the World No. 1, is still by a large margin the best player in the world -- and we didn't even talk about points. Will she win her home Slam this year? Will we get the Barty-Osaka match we all deserve?Follow TNNS and communicate any bugs and fixes, or just give them a shout out: @tnnsappFollow Tennis and Bagels: Twitter @TennisAndBagelsAndre Rolemberg @RolembergAndreVansh Vermani @vanshv2kOwen Lewis @tennisnation (and his blog: The Racket)Check out Popcorn Tennis!Twitter: @Popcorn_Tennis1Website: popcorntennis.comSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/tennis-and-bagels. Titles in the series (100)

The Tennis and Bagels Podcast aims to capture the best parts of tennis, from tactics to touching moments and many things in between. Andre Rolemberg started the show in 2019 and added Vansh Vermani — a dynamo in all things tennis statistic related — and Owen Lewis, a blogger, to the team. As the legendary Big Three head into the twilight of their careers and the WTA approaches a gleaming Golden Age with its plethora of young talent, change is afoot in the tennis world. Andre, Vansh, and Owen do their best to make sense of it through match recaps, often bad predictions, and general wondering.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/tennis-and-bagels.
