I’m continuing our series on end-of-the-year topics, and in this episode I’m talking about creating a final assessment for your choir.  In my previous position, ALL teachers at my school were required to come up with a written semester final.  So I decided that if I was going to give a written final, I wanted to create something that was going to be an effective assessment of what students know and can do.  In the end, I came up with something that not only did that, but also gave me a head start on choosing repertoire for the next year!    And in today’s episode of the podcast, I will share with you my process so that you can do the same thing.  Make sure you keep an eye out for a new resource that I will be announcing next Monday.  No matter what area of your teaching you want to focus on, this will be a resource you do not want to miss!
