Description
With school shifting to online, teachers had to go scrambling for technology solutions. One free solution that many teachers turned to was Flipgrid. Flipgrid is online software that allows teachers to post videos and other assignments, and then students can respond via video. On the surface, Flipgrid might seem like something that would be better utilized in other subject areas. But once you dig into it, if we start to think outside the box a little bit, there are actually a lot of ways that we can adapt Flipgrid to what we do as choir directors. In this episode, I’m going to give you 10 ideas for assessments and/or projects that you can do with your singers using Flipgrid. As an added bonus, I’ve created a free PDF Cheat Sheet that lists all of the ten ways, so that you don’t even have to take notes! Here's the link to get your copy:https://choirdirectorcorner.com/flipgridtenwaysWould you like to go even further into Flipgrid, with step-by-step tutorials that will teach you how to create classes and Topics, how to record videos, how to give student feedback, and a whole lot more? Then my online course, Flipgrid Essentials for the Choir Director, is just what you are looking for! The course is available through the Choir Director Corner Community Membership, which you can learn more about here:https://choirdirectorcorner.com/communityLooking for an activity that you can do with your choir virtually as well as in-person?
