The luxury goods market is expected to continue to perform positively in 2013, states Fflur Roberts, Head of Luxury Goods Research at Euromonitor. Much of this growth comes from the introduction of affordable luxury, which has been designed in response to the economic downturn. These goods can also be sold on the internet, which is a retail sector luxury often cannot utilize, as much of the experience of buying high end goods comes from the stores themselves.
