Jen brings a depth of knowledge  with nearly twenty years of experience in the malpractice industry. Jennifer tells us about two big gaps in the marketplace she observed while working at MedPro, and why she decided to start her own business.  We hear some great recommendations from Jennifer explaining what doctors should be asking at the time of their initial contract negotiations about having malpractice insurance,  She touches on Good Samaritan laws and how they differ based on where you practice. Dr. Orsini and Jennifer chat about having outside malpractice insurance and how it’s important to be your own advocate when it comes to getting an attorney if you need it. We learn the importance of communication in malpractice lawsuits. Jennifer explains the two biggest control levers that you can pull to make yourself safer as a practitioner that has to do with communication and documentation.
