Description

After multiple personal family experiences with cancer, Dr. Meighan Valero, ND (@doctorvalero) knew that her passion was to serve patients who were experiencing cancer. She has worked with thousands of patients who don’t want to take their cancer diagnosis lying down.  In this passionate episode, Meighan shares the premise for her TedX talk, her vision for integrative cancer care, and offers hope for people and families experiencing cancer. She bravely shares her challenges being “shut down” by oncologists and her continued commitment to serve her patients.  She explains how patients can work collaboratively with their Naturopathic Doctor and Oncologist to help reduce side effects, improve outcomes and live with vitality during their cancer care. She also shares examples of your lifestyle (that you probably had no idea of) that impact your cancer journey.  You can reach out to Meighan and her clinic at https://www.valerowellness.com/ to learn more.
