Description

As you learn English you'll want to know how to describe different types of weather. In this English lesson I'll help you learn how to describe a snowy day in English. There are many types of weather, but we're having a snowstorm here right now, so I thought this would be a great time to help you learn how to talk about it. As you know, talking about the weather is a form of small talk in English, so you'll want to master it!There are a few words and phrases for describing a snowy day. The snow can be light, it can be moderate, or heavy like when we have a blizzard. Today the snow is moderate - not light, but not heavy, but it will probably snow a lot harder later in the afternoon. There definitely are many things getting covered in snow though! In this English lesson I'll be sure to teach words and phrases like accumulation, wind chill, blowing snow, drifting snow, and many more!I think you'll enjoy this English weather lesson about describing a snowy day!Note: This is the audio portion of a Youtube English lesson which you can watch right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZIDPV_5seA or find by searching Youtube for, "Bob the Canadian Snowy Day"Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/bobthecanadian)
