Description

As you learn English you'll want to know how to describe different types of weather. In this English lesson I'll help you learn how to describe a rainy day in English. There are many types of weather, but it's rainy here right now, so I thought this would be a great time to help you learn how to talk about it. As you know, talking about the weather is a form of small talk in English, so you'll want to master it!There are a few words and phrases for describing a rainy day. The rain can be pleasant, like a slight drizzle, or damaging like when we have a thunderstorm. Today it is drizzling, but it will probably rain a lot harder later in the afternoon. There definitely are many things getting wet though! In this English lesson I'll be sure to teach phrases like, "It's really coming down out there." and "to rain cats and dogs" and many more!I think you'll enjoy this English weather lesson about describing a rainy day!Note: This is the audio portion of a Youtube English lesson which you can watch right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3vGH0yGsRQ or find by searching Youtube for, "Bob the Canadian Rainy Day"Support the show
