Description

As you learn English you'll want to know how to describe the weather. In this English lesson I'll help you learn how to describe a windy day in English. There are many types of weather, but it's windy here right now, so I thought this would be a great time to tell you about it. After all, talking about the weather is a form of small talk in English, so you'll want to master it!There are a few words and phrases for describing a windy day. The wind can be pleasant, like a breeze, or damaging like when we have a windstorm. Today the wind is strong, but not quite strong enough to do damage. There definitely are many things swaying in the wind though! In this English lesson I'll be sure to teach phrases like, "to have the wind at your back" and "to go with the wind" and many more!I think you'll enjoy this English weather lesson about describing a windy day!Note: This is the audio portion of a Youtube English lesson which you can watch right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySxdgOWi7HI or find by searching Youtube for, "Bob the Canadian Windy"Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/bobthecanadian)
