Lina takes the stage on Episode 17, where she & Sus dive into her rugby career. Starting at UMBC, Lina transferred to University of Vermont her sophomore year, where she got the sweet nickname Hector, found a chosen family, & was able to fully embrace her queer identity. Sus & Lina chat details of playing all different positions on the field & how the confidence gained on the pitch reflects into real life. To close out the episode, Lina shares how grief prompted her coming out & how the rugby community was the perfect place to do it.
