This week we are talking to Kristin from @winston_the_aussie_coonhound! Kristin is an occupational therapist and doctoral student living in Maryland with her rescue Aussie Coonhound mix, Winston. Winston is almost two years old, sweet and snuggly, and is also a certified therapy dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. They have been working as a pet therapy team since April of 2021. Through their team work, Kristin has seen first hand how Winston and other therapy dogs can bring joy to so many people's lives, but it has also taught her valuable lessons as a dog owner and handler.
