Description

We are coming to the end of another eventful year, another 12 month bundle of opportunities, challenges, plenty of highlights and some definite unforeseen low lights. Hopefully you are about to embark on a well-deserved break. This is exactly what the inside influence team and myself will be doing. So over the next few weeks we are going be taking a festive step back to rest up, recalibrate and re-inspire ourselves for 2022. However, if you need some inspiration to get you thinking and planning for next year, we have you covered. Our holiday season of power cuts or power minis are back. Our first power cut is Guy Kawasaki.Today’s Guest Today’s guest is Guy Kawasaki. Guy is the previous chief evangelist at Apple. As part of that role he popularized the word evangelist in business and the concept of evangelism marketing. Since then, he has published several books, including one for your must read list ‘Enchantment: The Art of Changing Hearts, Minds, and Actions’. Guy now works as Chief Evangelist at graphic design platform Canva. He is also a well known speaker and host of the remarkable people podcast in which he interviews amazing humans like Seth Garden, Dr. Jane Goodall and Angela Duckworth. In this flashback section of our interview, you're gonna hear Guy explain why life is like Tinder and not eHarmony and how this knowledge is the key to nailing your pitch. Now, for those of you who missed that whole internet dating aspect of romantic life, well done, I'll let you google those two references. Guy also reveals the exact matrix that he uses to identify solid gold products or people. Now you have to remember he gets pulled into a lot of pitches. He is an investor. He comes on board in the early stages of companies, and this is the exact matrix that he uses to identify the company's products or people he wants to get Involved with. He also talks about why we all need a mantra instead of a mission statement. Now, if you've been struggling to cut through the noise this year and need some new tools to make an impact, I promise you this episode is for you. Website: https://guykawasaki.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/guyTwitter: https://twitter.com/GuyKawasakiLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/guykawasaki/Subscribe to and Review the Inside Influence PodcastThanks for tuning into this week’s episode of the Inside Influence Podcast!
