Description

In this episode George chats with Valeria Perez about her work in human rights activism and education for youth in El Salvador. The country experienced a fully fledged civil war between 1980-1992 with 75,000 people killed and over 7,000 who went missing, creating a highly divided and broken society. Hence, Valeria's work in improving human rights education as well as improving the historical memory for youth in El Salvador is vitally important. The conversation also touches on how youth can build confidence to create positive change they wish to see!
