Description

Miami Dolphins Tales From The Deep

Joe Rose was a seventh-round draft choice by the Miami Dolphins in 1980 out of the University of California, Berkeley. Joe logged seven NFL seasons as a tight end, making his most memorable play in 1983 as he hauled in Dan Marino’s first touchdown pass, but it has been in his post playing career as a radio and television broadcaster where Joe has truly made his mark. Taking a break from his morning drive sports talk radio show on 560 WQAM to dive into The Tank, Joe details how his relationship with Don Shula took a downward turn, shared what it was like rooming with Marino and another Fins quarterback, David Woodley, explains why you should always drive your own car when heading out to a nightclub with Mark Duper, and finally reveals the secret whereabouts of the football he caught to help Dan Marino register the first of his 420 career TD tosses.
