Description

Miami Dolphins Tales From The Deep

A standout high school football and basketball star, Terry Kirby played both sports at the University of Virginia, finishing his career as the school’s all-time leader in rushing yards. Kirby joined The Fish Tank’s own OJ McDuffie as a member of the Miami Dolphins 1993 draft class when the team utilized their second pick, a third-round choice, on the star running back. After proving to Don Shula that he wasn’t “a blind guy” Terry and OJ were teammates and roommates for three seasons, an experience that led to numerous great memories, several of which are shared in this episode of The Fish Tank. Terry also recalls the unique benefits of being a highly sought after high school football star, and just how far he would go to see his brother play in the 1995 World Series. Another questionable “Top 5” closes out TK’s run in The Tank.
