A social drinker is defined as someone who regularly drinks alcohol in social settings, but doesn’t usually drink otherwise. However, heavy drinking, even when done occasionally, can quickly spiral out of control into addiction. This one is not coming from a place of judgment. My biggest issue with alcohol is that it’s often used as a coping mechanism to avoid underlying issues. I want you to be healthy, happy and not need any kind of addictive substance to have a good time.
