Summary:
Today I'm joined by the wonderful duo that is Beau Nelson and Shannon Heth, authors of Cinderella, You Bitch: Rescue Your Relationships from the Fairy-Tale Fantasy. In this episode, we speak about our society’s obsession with having a fairytale love story and happy endings. As kids, we’ve all heard the story of how Cinderella or other fairytale princesses found their prince charming, got married, and lived happily ever after, giving us unrealistic expectations of how relationships should be when we become adults. Listening to this episode will help you see the reality of a being in a relationship and how you can create the ending you desire.
Shannon Heth is a marketing and communications specialist who crafts creative strategy and stories for global brands. The president and founder of public relations agency Milk Creative Communications, her client work has appeared in The New York Times, Vogue, Bon Appetit, and the Los Angeles Times.
