On the show Wednesday, Blackerby is joined by Painter Sharpless of ESPN 106.7. The guys look at comments from the Botta Getta message board on Auburn Undercover regarding Blackerby’s question, “Who do you see as Auburn’s breakout player in 2018?” The guys shift through the comments and eventually share their own on both sides of the ball. There are several Auburn fans that are expecting big things in 2018 from Auburn running back Boobie Whitlow and linebacker T.D. Moultry.

Start of the show: Blackerby and Sharpless lay the groundwork for today’s podcast. It doesn’t take long to get to comments from Auburn fans that list Whitlow and Moultry as their breakout studs for Auburn’s football team this season. The radio hosts discuss if Whitlow will have enough opportunities this season.

6-minute mark: The conversation shifts to potential wide receivers that could breakout this season. Blackerby questions the distribution of targets throughout the wide receivers and question is some guys will get enough catches to have a great season.

10-minute mark: To no one's surprise, a handful of Auburn Undercover VIP members picked some defensive linemen to break out. Blackerby and Sharpless like these picks and believe they could have an impact but similar to the wide receiver situation, they question how many defensive linemen will play more than sixty percent of defensive snaps.

End of the show: Blackerby discusses the offensive line and how it will impact the season and agrees with fans that it probably will not be an issue in 2018.
