It's always a game that is circled on the calendar when the season schedule is released. Even though they play in different conferences, you always look for when the Avs and Red Wings meet up, which will happen again Friday night in Denver.
This is a different Red Wings team than we have been used the past couple seasons. They are younger and can hang with anyone. Thanks to their two rising star rookie in Lucas Raymond and Moritz Seider.
But the Avs are coming off a solid 7-3 win against the New York Rangers and want to keep the momentum on their side. This should be a fast and entertaining match-up.
