In this episode the friends talk about how Jason used to hang out with Milo from the Descendents when he was in high school and Milo was in college. The two discuss the punk/cholo style common in their San Diego punk circle. In doing so Martin explains what 'Wino' shoes are. This talk leads to a discussion of Suicidal Tendencies and the time Mike Muir called his house and spoke to his mom. 
We get a little more information about Martin and Pat's 1982 trip to see the Misfits in Compton. Martin shares the part of the story Pat forgot last episode. The part about being held and searched by 14 Long Beach police officers. We also hear about Pat learning to drive after Martin has his nose exploded at an SSDecontrol show in Santa Monica.
