This podcasts discusses a retrospective study looking at the impact of using Fish Oil (FO)-ILE on parenteral nutrition associated cholestasis (PNAC). All patients were previously on a mixed oil ILE and were changed to the FO-ILE due to an elevated direct bilirubin >2 mg/dL. All patients benefitted with a decrease in the direct bilirubin while on the FO-ILE. The podcast discusses the different patient cases and the authors interpretation of the impact of the FO-ILE.
