Dave Winer is considered to be the father of blogging and the RSS feed AKA Really Simple Syndication. He's been connecting the dots and closing parentheses in Silicon Valley since the beginning of the tech industry. He pioneered the development of weblogs, syndication (RSS), podcasting, outlining, and web content management software; former contributing editor at Wired Magazine, research fellow at Harvard Law School and NYU, entrepreneur, started two Silicon Valley tech companies. Winer has been given "credit for the invention of the podcasting model." Many of the things we do on the internet have Dave's fingerprints on it.
