Description
Amy Whited is the founder of Pink Granite, a non-partisan community of women supporting women. Pink Granite's members and contributors each work or aspire to work in Texas politics and public policy. Consultants, activists, elected officials, lobbyists, staff, students, interns, and yes - even supportive men, all have a place at Pink Granite regardless of experience level or political affiliation. Amy has been involved in politics for over fifteen years as a campaigner, a staffer, and now as a government relations director. She's also worked as a creative director, freelance writer and web-designer. Those worlds all collide at Pink Granite. Over the years she's managed to transition from state to state, build relationships, and advance a career in politics despite the hurdles a cross-country move (or 4!) can bring to this business.
