Description

Alex Johnson is the President of InState Partners, a firm that helps businesses expand their operations into new states as well as introduce and promote innovation within government. Since 1999, InState Partners has impacted legislation and government contracts for their clients throughout the country.  He received his B.A. from Marquette University in Political Science and History. Alex’s first job in politics was working at the Republican National Committee in the fundraising office. He worked on John McCain’s 2000 run for President as the Deputy Finance Director. Alex dipped into the dotcom boom of the early 2000s and founded a startup called SpeedGreetings. He then served as the Executive Director for the Republican State Leadership Committee. Alex became a Principal and founder of Avalanche Advisors, before serving as a Senior Vice President of FP1 Strategies. For the last 12 years, Alex has worked with the American Council of Young Political Leaders, now serving as the President of the Board.
