In this special series, I am interviewing people that I've known for years, people I respect who have demonstrated consistent positivity and values over time. I've watched them during the pandemic to see if their messaging or their behavior has changed. It hasn't. Which inspires me. That's leadership.  I met Karl many years ago through CrossFit and we became friends. He then attended our  SPEAR System instructor development course, not because he wanted to learn self-defense to teach it, he wanted to know how to protect himself and his family.  Karl also has a love of learning and that's one of the things that I most appreciate about him, his open-mindedness and desire to evolve and grow as a person.
