Description
While this is not a good thing, not all conflict is bad.
Sometimes we can influence real change with conflict!
Ask yourself:
What are you fighting about?
Who is leading the direction?
How are you fighting / disagreeing?
Is there discussion / debate?
Ongoing fighting or is it more of a situation specific situation?
Tips:
Document the conversation / disagreement / outcome
Try to get to the core of the issue
Evaluate whether or not this is the right boss for you
Need to bring a 3rd party?
Be ok with uncomfortable conversations
Find practical resolutions for both of you
Be self aware
Put yourself and your self care first
Apologize if needed
Make the agreed upon changes
Confirm you're good with the leader once the issue is resolved
