Groq is in partnership with the AI Hardware Summit happening n Mountain View, California on September 17 and 18.  Software defined compute is a way of thinking about how compute can be optimized for machine learning functions. Ross talks about some of the pros and cons of GPUs and where software defined computer might make its way into future machine learning applications.
