Purpose Is Not a Checklist
Believe Bigger is about discovering the path to your life’s purpose and one of my favorite parts of the book is when Marshawn says,
“I’m not here to help you find your purpose. I’m here to help you become more aware of it.” – Marshawn Evans Daniels
Purpose is the natural impact and presence your life is meant to have on others. This is the crux of why we are here. 
For Marshawn, to understand her purpose, it took her needing to be in the trenches with people rather than speaking to them from a stage. Most of us, she says, try to look at our lives through our own lens or through the lens of what other people say and that doesn’t get to the core of our purpose.

Think about purpose like this: What is it about you that if you never got a paycheck or no one ever saw or heard your name you’d do just because it’s you? Purpose, in other words, is more about personality than profession.  
Calling Is Your Assignment
Calling is a specific assignment. You can think of it as a specific mission or objective and throughout life you will have multiple assignments. 
You should look at calling as a seasonal assignment and ask yourself, “What am I being assigned or called to do for this season?” Also, realize it might change. This is where obedience and being open to and aware of God’s voice is absolutely imperative because you might plant roots in soil that God only intended you to plant seeds in.
Gifts – Your God Endowments 
Think about gifts as you would superpowers because your gifts are your superpowers. These are the things God has deposited within you and they’re exclusive to you. 
Our gifts give us clues about our assignments and when we understand our purpose in terms of our personality and essence then we can show up uniquely. For this reason, there’s nobody else on the planet like you.
