I have been an endodontist for 43 plus years. I founded a group practice of which I am still a full time member. About 30 years ago, we started a company, Essential Dental Systems, 34 years ago to improve and simplfy the placement of posts, the shaping and obturation of root canals as well as introducing a number of improvements made in other areas of dentistry. Through both the practice and the company I do a lot of continuing education specifically in endodontics giving dentists a broader perspective on the options they have available.
