There are a couple of designs for portable shave horse designs out there so what I build here is nothing new.  The shave pony has been on my list for a while to build and I have been making do without it for years.  Finally I stopped everything and built one and am so glad I did.  It is small enough to be set up off the end of my bench and not get in the way at all or I can fold it up and stick it up against the wall.  Sure a shave horse can be more functional for the ocassional drawknife user this is a great solution.
