Description
TheGCDoc (his YouTube Channel and "GGH 137: The Geocaching Doc") returned for the one-hundred forty-fifth edition of the GeoGearHeads The Bad Cop and DarrylW4 about several subjects subjected by the audience. XpunkX (of xpunkx & Julez) sent us a recording about using GSAK to log finds. JerseyEric asked about logging etiquette. brilang was looking for ways to compile his own maps. He's currently using maps from OpenStreetMap.nl with trails from SwitchBacks.com/NWTrails. DarrylW4 mentioned the Garmin Custom Maps, and suggested "GGH 060: Ontario Trails Project" as a listen to find out what goes into building trail maps. The Live Q&A suggested checking out GPSFileDepot as well. team_pugatch called in some information about his new hide – a Cabin in Maine (GC5D116) – in which the finder plays a text adventure game to collect the clues for the final cache location. The last bit in this show was from KratzFamily5 looking for opinions about cache size ratings. Congratulations to lafitefl for submitting the winning answer for this week's question, and to Tanjent for being drawn as the winner of the live drawing. Thanks to CoinsAndPins.com for those prize donations. The live video session from this Google+ Hangout On Air can be found on YouTube.
