The tech used to support events is the topic for the two hundred forty-first edition of the GeoGearHeads. cnlson, The Bad Cop, and DarrylW4 talked briefly about tools to help before the event, but referred back to "GGH 120: Working Together I" went into more depth. The also talked about tools like GSAK, GPS Babel, and Garmin basecamp for loading the unpublished or private geocaches on to GPSRs. Then they mentioned the "Unpublished Caches on Smartphones for Events" page Darryl created for the smartphone users. cnlson recommends the iDrive ONE as an option for WiFi distribution of the GPX files at an event.
