Description
ChrisOfTheNorthWest and DarrylW4 were live from the lobby of their hotel for the Gigastock for the three hundred thirty-fourth edition of the GeoGearHeads. It's another Randomize show and the first up was a question about Google Home users and playing the shows by Tha Duh Feez. Google has rolled out support now for an Google Assistant powered device to listen to news or podcasts. mikeD e-mailed about the Uni-ball Power Tank being a good pen (as reviewed by PenAddict) and available from Amazon. A timely question from TeAm G Winchester about the WiFi on a phone interfering with the GPSR tied nicely to the "DOT GPS Adjacent Band Compatibility Assessment" summarized for our show by Limax. IN_Darel wondered about his virtual reward being lost by the Geocaching.com special character issue (it's not likely). W'n'L Willett is having issues using his PN-60 on a Mac. There's a new geotrail kick-off coming to Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware as reported by TeAm G Winchester. Geocaching HQ has been busy announcing things including the "GeoTour completed? Souvenir earned!" and "Important Updates to Geocaching HQ's Policies." Darryl was also disappointed in Navigon shutting down. Finally there was a mention that "U.S. Department of Justice Investigating Claims AT&T, Verizon and GSMA Colluded to Prevent Customers From Easily Switching Carriers."
