In addition, the program converts neglected urban waterfront sites into more publicly beneficial uses, preserves productive farmland and protects views from historic sites. Stay tuned for the EscapeMaker segment featuring Ron Samascott from Samascott Orchard.   The fat we render on the edible side can be used for food, cosmetics, soaps, oleochemical manufacture, biodiesels... there are a wide variety of uses.
