ENDURANCE Changes hands
No. 2547 was built as a road locomotive in 1903 and was use by brickmaker J K Cooper & Sons at Maidenhead, who sold the well-worn engine in 1933 to showman Maurice Stokes for £60. The engine was overhauled by Wallis & Steevens, also of Basingstoke, a
