About this ebook

We are all called by God in different ways, but the question is, "How will we know what we are called to do?"  In Connie Mundy's new book, Called By God, Jesus teaches us how we can know for certain if what we are doing is according to His Holy Will.

We will know we are following God's Will for our life if we have a sense of peace.  We are all adopted children of God and are chosen by Him to follow in His Ways.  When we commit our ways to the Lord, He will show us which path of life He desires us to take.  Step by step, when we walk on the path of life with Jesus, He will mold us into what He desires us to be.

Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life.  When we follow the narrow path in life, it will lead to eternal life in Heaven.  Guided by the words of Jesus, we will be taught how to lead others back to Christ.

    Introduction

Each of us are called by God in our own way to serve one another. In the spring of 2007, I attended my first CRHP (Christ Renews His Parish) retreat weekend. The summer of that same year, Jesus began speaking to me and has been ever since.

In the fall of 2014, I attended a TEC (Teens Encounter Christ) retreat weekend as an adult observer. The day after Thanksgiving in 2014 is when God called me to begin a new journey in my life. This is when I began writing my first book titled, Spirituality A Journey For My Soul. I continued to write for six years and published it in 2021.

Jesus continues to speak to me, and I continue to write. As He speaks to me, I write the words that I am given. This is a rare gift that has been given to me. I am only His vessel to help spread His messages of love and mercy. Through the words of Jesus, we are given messages as to how He desires us to live.

It is my hope and prayer that we may all learn and grow in the love of God. May we all learn how to help one another on our journey through life. May God richly bless us through His Divine Words and keep us safe from harm.

    One: Receive My Call

I call out to My dear children, and I desire you to receive it. I call all My dear children in different ways. When you know what your calling is in life, receive it graciously. Be not afraid of the work I call you to do. I will be with you and give you strength to endure what is placed before you. Blessed are you when you endure to the end. When I call you to do a certain job for Me in life, it will not be easy. Many people may come against you. Be strong in your faith and follow Me.

We are all called by God in different ways. When we receive His calling, we will know it is from Him if we feel peace. Sometimes in life we may feel as though we are doing what we are called to do. If, however, we do not feel peace about what we are doing, it means that we should not do it. Jesus will guide us in the right direction.

I will indeed lead and guide My dear children in the right direction. Take My hand and allow Me to show you the way. I will show you the path which I desire you to take. It may not be easy but with Me by your side, you will not fail.

Many times, we as humans desire to take the easy way in life. Matthew 7 vs 13-14 tells us that we should enter through The Narrow Gate.

‘Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

If we follow the narrow path, it will lead to eternal life in Heaven with Jesus. Even though choosing this path of life is difficult, this is what Jesus desires us to do.

Many of My dear children desire to follow the pathway of life which is easy. I desire to be followed. When you follow Me, the path is hard. Many things will come against you but have no fear. I am with you through it all. Take a stand against the evil ways of the world. If the ways of the world are followed, it will lead to destruction. Even though you live in the world, I desire you to follow Me and not the things of the world. My dear children, I love you so much and desire no harm to come to you. I have a hedge of protection around you. I protect you with My Mighty Armor.

The devil knows where our weaknesses are. These are the areas in our life which he likes to prey upon. He will try to throw a lot of different things our way to try to get us to stray away from our faith. By being strong in our faith and putting on The Whole Armour Of God each day, we will be protected. Ephesians 6 vs 10-20 speaks to us about this very thing.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power. Put on the whole armour of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armour of God, so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand therefore, and fasten the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. As shoes for your feet put on whatever will make you ready to proclaim the gospel of peace. With all of these, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints. Pray also for me, so that when I speak, a message may be given to me to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it boldly, as I must speak. (Ephesians 6:10-20)

Many times, in life when we struggle, we feel as though we are doing battle against our enemies, when we are really facing a spiritual battle. There are many spiritual battles going on around the world. To be prepared for these battles, God has given us His Armor to wear. When we fasten the belt of truth around our waist, it keeps us from giving in to the way the world believes. Many times, the way the world believes is not the same as what is taught in the Bible. We should always be faithful to what is taught to us through the Bible. The Bible’s way of living is the Word of God. When putting on the breastplate of righteousness, we are honest, good, and fair to other people. We treat one another with respect and help those in need. We also need to shod our feet with the gospel of peace.
