    Or can it?

Fate has dealt Jackson Taylor a raw deal. One of the sexiest and most talented rock singers is dying.

A Rock N Roll Romance Fantasy

    Prelude

    Ancient Greece

My story begins on Mount Olympus.

Helen of Troy? Sure, she was a beauty. However, Menelaus had to be out of his mind to go to war with Sparta on her account.

My friend, Helen, was the most beautiful woman in the known world then. Men do insane things in the name of love. Zeus drawled as he sipped his ale.

Oh, please, Robert said, plopping another grape in his mouth. A thousand ships? Maybe if he was going after  Hector, he said as the words fell off his tongue. Now, Hector was a man I ‘d like to play with.

My friend, you’re a decadent soul. I often wonder how you managed to stay with us here in the clouds, said Zeus. Hades always seemed to be calling you.

My Lord, I’m a do-gooder, you know that. Robert moved his body into a more comfortable position. I know Helen is your child. You have so many children, Robert added, taking a date from the large bowl before him.

Helen is one of the sweetest of my children and not the brightest. My muses are the brightest stars, though few are from my loins.

I rolled my eyes, trying not to listen to their prattle. Zeus invited me to dine with him and his longtime friend Robert because he had urgent business to discuss with me. I lounged on the chaise beside him, enjoying the soft afternoon breezes. Getting a word in edgewise with Robert wasn’t worth the effort, so I listened and enjoyed the wine. I needed a refill. I slid my legs from the comfortable chaise, stood, and stretched. I walked to the table, which was laden with exotic treats, to refresh my goblet.

How right Zeus was. I wasn’t one of his children. I was a muse. I listened to their useless prattle and pushed aside the large, wispy drapes hanging from our home's white pillars on Mt. Olympus. I let out a long, drawn-out sigh. I was bored. When could I return to Earth? Humans were such an interesting lot. I enjoyed their spontaneous nature, love of life, and desires of the flesh. Zeus had promised me I could pick my time and place when I decided to return.

Through the ages, I’ve had many names, including Euterpe. However, upon my birth, my mother chose Chelsey. It was her way of breaking away from tradition, even though Zeus at first refused to acknowledge it. I smiled as I thought of her and her ageless beauty. My mother had been sent to Earth to help spread the joy of love through poetry. She went by her ancestors’ chosen name, Erato, and was one of the many muses of love poetry. I had wanted to tag along, but Zee, my nickname for Zeus, my overlord, had other plans for me. We’d later learn that the twenty-first century had many perils. Neither Zee nor I had any idea she’d perish on Earth.

I let the gossamer fabric fall over the pillars and returned to my chaise as I sipped a cup of heavenly Ambrosia.

Ah, Chelsey, I see that look on your face. You’re bored; you need an assignment.

Yes, my love, I cooed, stopping before him as he motioned me to come to him. I sat on his lap. I kissed the crook of his neck.

You have a way about you, he said breathlessly.

I want to make love, I purred, then looked at Robert, who continued to plop grapes in his mouth, ignoring me. Can you take a hint?

    I don’t mind staying. I like watching.

There were times I wanted to hit Robert over the head. He could be quite obnoxious.

Leave, Zee said as his hands crept up the side of my body and cupped one of my full breasts. Leave now! he bellowed, causing me to burst into giggles.

Robert stood and straightened out his flowing robes. It seems I’m not wanted here. He snapped a finger and disappeared in a puff of lavender smoke.

He can be a royal pain in the ass at times. Now, where were we, Zee said, pushing the sheer fabric I wore off my shoulders. So soft, so pure, and so delicious.

I gave into his lips as they encompassed mine, and I spread my thighs, allowing him to roam my bare flesh. His hands were insistent as they found my wet core and a finger slipped inside. He knew how to arouse and get me places I never knew existed. He was a connoisseur of pleasure, and I was under his spell. Our lips melded perfectly as I undid the folds of his robe. His impressive cock was hard and ready.

Come, my sweet thing, climb on me; ride me until we burst wide open.

I took his entire length deep inside me and held onto his shoulders. His hands rested on my hips, aiding me in our quest. I rode him hard, each thrust driving me closer to my end.

When he came, he let out a growl so loud it rumbled throughout the marbled halls. With one last thrust, I let my body erupt. My pussy contracted, squeezing out every drop of his thick sweet cream. As always, fucking him was amazing.

He held me close and petted me. My sweet, sweet Chelsey, there is no other like you. My cock quivers at the thought of making love to you.

I’m sure it did. He aroused me, too. I wanted more. I wanted to love and be loved. Would I ever experience that emotion? For a muse, it was a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. I wanted that; I to feel loved.

I fostered many and inspired thousands. Yet one constant was missing in my life: true love. I’d have many infatuations, but I couldn’t say I was ever in love. Was love in the cards for me?

An old seer once told me I’d find love and would love with every fiber of my being, just one man. Yes, a man, not a God. It would be bitter-sweet for a time, and true love would win out. So, I’d wait for the love of a lifetime. I believed I’d be waiting for an eternity.

    Chapter One

    Chaos

I never wanted to be a muse. It was my destiny. Since the days of Gods and Goddesses, muses have existed. I made the best of my fate, creating joy and music throughout the ages. My time as a muse was ending, and Zee had made me a promise. He was allowing me a pass to travel to whatever time I chose. There, I could retire. This was my reward for helping Mozart, Doris Day, and Frank Sinatra, just to list a few familiar names. I’d also had numerous lovers through the ages, and the one that stuck in my mind was Mozart.

Yet, I’d never fallen in love.

As I neared the end of my journey through time, I wanted love and was determined to find it. I was giving up my status as a muse. Instead of giving love and creating beauty for others, I wanted to experience it for myself.

Before me, my mother was a muse, a beautiful creature who romped through history, making love and inspiring poets. Mother was a love muse who inspired some of the greatest poets and love matches of all time: King Arthur and
