In today's fast-paced and technology-driven world, the simple act of a handshake seems to have lost its importance and significance. The handshake, once a symbol of trust, respect, and honor, has been overshadowed by virtual interactions and impersonal communication. As a result, many fatherless kids and adults who are missing family values are deprived of the understanding and appreciation for the handshake as a gesture of connection and respect. This missed opportunity to instill traditional values in their lives further perpetuates the disconnect between individuals and the erosion of meaningful human connections. The lack of emphasis on physical touch and face-to-face interactions in today's society has led to a decline in the value placed on personal connections and the importance of non-verbal communication. Without the guidance and role modeling of strong family units, individuals are left to navigate the complexities of social interactions on their own, often leading to a sense of isolation and disconnection from others. The need for genuine human connection and the reinforcement of traditional values such as respect, trust, and honor through gestures like handshakes cannot be understated in a world increasingly focused on virtual relationships and digital communication. It is crucial for individuals to rediscover the power and significance of the handshake as a timeless symbol of mutual respect and connection, bridging the gap between virtual interactions and meaningful human connections. By recognizing the value of physical touch and face-to-face communication, we can begin to rebuild the foundation of trust, respect, and honor in our relationships and society as a whole.

Inspiration for the book: This book was inspired by The Storm On The Sea Of  Galilee painting.  The painting depicts the bible store: Calming the storm which is one of the miracles of Jesus in the Gospels, reported in Matthew 8:23–27, Mark 4:35–41, and Luke 8:22–25 (the Synoptic Gospels). This episode is distinct from Jesus' walk on water, which also involves a boat on the lake and appears later in the narrative.  2. We were also inspired by the song by Randy Travis Three wooden crosses. The most important inspiration came from my Wife Dale Long who has her father’s bible and her grandmother’s bible both were handed down to her and entrusted her6t66fv to keep the bibles in the family. 3.
