Crafting your OWN HAPPINESS

Apparently, a phone screen is not a substitute for a real, live, flesh and blood community or a chinwag with a close friend. We may be addicted to Instagram and the convenience of online shopping, but the emergence of craft groups, shared workspaces and creative collaborations shows that we are yearning for old-fashioned communities and friendship.

Social media has made it easier than ever to connect with people and to find your best friend from primary school, but online friendships simply don’t offer the warmth of a real friendship, and no WhatsApp group is a substitute for a craft group where friends share a mutual passion.
