As I walk onto the football field, the sun casting long shadows across the grass, I can't help but feel a surge of pride. This field has been my home for as long as I can remember, a place where I've both triumphed and struggled. But today, as the head coach of our high school football team, I stand tall and confident, ready to lead my players to victory.

I'm Royal Alexander Wilson, but most people just call me Roy. It's a name that carries weight around here, a name synonymous with athleticism and success. With my tall, athletic build, blonde hair, and piercing blue eyes, I fit the mold of the all-American quarterback perfectly. It's an image I've worked hard to maintain, always seen in casual sportswear or my coaching attire, exuding strength and confidence.

Confidence—that's something I've never lacked. Outgoing and charming, I've always been able to command a room, to rally my teammates behind me with just a few words. But behind that confident facade lies a secret, a truth I've kept hidden for far too long.

Growing up as the star quarterback, I was admired by many. But as much as I was celebrated on the field, off the field, I struggled. I'm gay, and the thought of revealing that truth terrifies me. I've spent years hiding behind a carefully constructed facade, afraid of the potential fallout if anyone were to discover the real me.

My relationships have always been superficial, fleeting encounters with women to maintain the illusion of heterosexuality. I've never allowed myself to get close to anyone, always keeping them at arm's length for
