Chapter One:
Plans
t was just like a nightmare, it was Monday, and Paul had forgotten about how and when school started, and now he was rushing. He slept through two alarms and almost missed his bus, but thankfully
he caught it just in time before the bus exited his street. It was starting to get a little chilly in New Bedford, and Paul couldn’t be bothered to get out of his warm bed when it was slightly cold.
What happened, man? You look like you just got out of bed?
asked Mark as Gina giggled along. Paul gave him the side eye as he settled in his bus seat.
I completely forgot it was Monday and accidentally slept through my alarms,
Paul responded. Mark and Gina laughed.
Good morning, I guess,
Gina greeted sarcastically; Paul made a face at her as Mark laughed.
This is Halloween week, and my week has already started with the horrors of almost sleeping through school,
Paul said, trying to be funny.
"We know what you can be. Passepartout from Around the World in 80 Days," Gina teased, not serious.
Gina, your nerd is here. Maybe you should go as someone else this week since the real you is bland and nerdy,
Paul mocked. Gina was book-smart.

Mark reasoned, stopping the two of them. They just glared at each other now that Mark had stopped them from continuing their fight.
As they got to the school, the three of them got off the bus and walked into the school. They met their friends, Clara and Sam, waiting for them in the hallway before homeroom.
Hey, guys! What’s up?
Clara asked excitedly. She then paused, looked at Paul, and asked, Oh my God! Paul, are you okay?
Yes. I am fine!
Paul remarked, completely annoyed, fixing his hair.
Gina giggled, and he glared at her.
Anyway,
Clara started, what are we doing for this Halloween week?
The gang was just getting their plans in order when the bell rang,
and they had to go to their classes. They decided to meet at lunch and then brainstorm ideas for Halloween week. It was their favorite school event that day to be a part of.
They were sitting down at their usual table in the lunchroom when Nick and his lackeys came in. On his way in, he pushed Albert, the captain of the Glee club, into the trash can, and the poor guy fell in with his lunch tray. Everyone was laughing at him. Gina wanted to get up and help him, but she knew if she did, he would throw her in next, and she
